Abstract :
Magnetic field coupling is the best candidate for the communication in a harsh environment, for example, under water and ground. However, the magnetic coupling at low frequency and high frequency range is limited by its short communication range. To obtain the maximum communication range between aggregator and sensor node, several main parameters such as number of turns, thickness and diameter of the coil antenna were optimized to get the best Q factor and mutual coupling coefficient between coil antennas. And also, measured s-parameters were demonstrated using a LC resonant antenna circuit in this paper.
