Abstract :
Iterative methods for solving systems of linear equations are attractive because of their simplicity. A fundamental problem of iterative solution methods is the requirement of an initial guess as a starting point. A technique is described for constructing a nontrivial initial point to accelerate the convergence of iterative methods
