Abstract :
The paper presents an efficient three-phase voltage source inverter pulse-width modulation method which make it possible to improve output voltage quality, to minimize commutation energy losses, and to compensate DC-link voltage ripples. A comparison technique of pulse width modulation methods by integral square output current deviation performance criterion is proposed. The technique permits evaluation of the voltage source inverter quality by a natural figure of merit and design of an optimal pulse-width modulation algorithm
