Abstract
Analytical equations are derived for power supply system applied for remote sensing applications. The analyzed model includes synchronous buck converter, controller, output capacitor, and supply bus parasitic. The impacts of system parameters on system stability are studied. Then, a simple control structure is proposed to stabilize the system. The proposed system has been examined to improve its dynamic response and their design parameters have been made clear. Finally, analytically derived waveforms are validated in a good matching with measurements.
