Abstract :
The paper describes the method of polynomial eigenstructure assignment and its application to a multivariable VSTOL aircraft. The theory of polynomial eigenstructure assignment is described, together with the controller structure. Metrics are described that evaluate interaction, actuator motion and robustness.
