Abstract
The externalist philosophy refers to the theories of Incorporating Mind (Embodiment) and Enaction. Embodiment is essentially how we act through the technology and enaction is the idea that an organism creates its own experience through their actions, based on physical and social experiences with the world. In order to narrow the gap between men and technology, this article aims to provide new heuristics that may be incorporated into the processes of interactive systems design, focusing on the externalist theories of the philosophy of Mind and concerning the “use” of the technology rather than the “user”.
