Abstract
A single user of a connection-oriented network may connect at two points to the network for increased reliability. In this configuration a number of applications such as diverse path setup are possible. These applications introduce dependencies between calls served by the two network access points of the dual homed user. A mechanism for these call interactions is presented that maintains the traditional low trust boundary between the user and the network.
