Abstract
Some effects of parasitic capacitances on operational transconductance amplifier-capacitor (OTA-C) filters are studied. In particular, it is shown that serious stability problems may occur if passive filters containing capacitor loops or inductor cutsets (structures with nonobservable poles at infinity) are simulated by OTA-C structures with all the capacitors grounded. Structures that avoid these problems are proposed for realizing the filters
