Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.
The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org.
Based on the thermodynamics principle, this paper presents the heat and mass transfer simulation model of countflow cooling tower. Combining the experimental data, the outlet cooling water temperatures are simulated and the relative errors between the calculated results and the experimental results are not beyond 2%, so the precision of the model is validated. It provides the references for the verifying calculations and applications of energy-saving controlling measures in the countflow cooling towers.
