  • Abstract
    The structure of the Static Var Compensator (SVC) control system and the compensation principle are briefly analyzed in this paper. The control method of nonlinear PID based on nonlinear norm transformation is introduced into the control system, to improve performance. The simulation results show that the method can accelerate the stabilizing process and reduce rising time and overshoot obviously.
