Abstract :
A method for evaluating the all-terminal reliability of computer-communication networks is proposed. Based on edge-disjoint trees, the method gives the exact all-terminal reliability expression. Instead of choosing an arbitrary cutset, the maximum cutset of the given reliability graph is extracted so as to reduce the order of the cutset-state combination tree. The needed disjoint trees are readily and directly generated, and then the reliability expression is obtained. An example to illustrate the method is given
