Abstract
In this paper we present the design of a printed dipole antenna by gradually adding directors in order to increase the gain (like Yagi antenna). The first design has been presented in publication. This kind of antenna is well known in IETR laboratory and can be used in many applications and frequency bands. It is also well suitable for broadband and multi bands applications. We have focused this study around the 3 GHz WLAN band. The goal of this study is to determine the best configuration for optimised performances with single antenna or antenna array.
