Abstract :
We report a 3-dimensional optical cross connect using microlens scanners newly developed by the topologically layer switching technology. The XY-stage for the lateral motion of the lens could move 19 mum in the X-directions and 23 mum in the Y-directions independently. The telescope system worked effectively to reduce the displacement needed for the actuator to be almost 50%. The optical scanner was used to compose a 9times9 OXC, and optical coupling loss of 13.8 dB was obtained
