  • Abstract
This paper describes steam temperature and drum boiler reduced models. They can be derived from a singular perturbation method. Before model reduction, nonlinear dynamic models are divided into two: that is, steam generation system and steam-heating system. The object of steam-heating system control is superheater steam temperature. After designing a steam temperature controller, a drum boiler singularly perturbed system is presented. By selecting controller gains properly, the reduced order drum boiler models may be derived. The drum boiler is a natural recirculation type. The input is fuel and feedwater flow. The output is drum level and main steam flow
