Abstract
This paper describes a study that defines and compares two different strategies for information systems change process: systems view and process view. We demonstrate that the systems view often results in a change or adoption process that is based on indirect measures of system success, rather than direct observations and understanding of how systems operate and support the processes, as is the case with the process view
