Abstract
The author states that one should not constrain oneself in one´s vision of the future. One should approach it with an open mind and be an enabler who makes things happen. This is especially true in education and the author´s remarks are directed primarily to continuing education and life-long learning for working technical professionals in the USA. These issues are discussed with reference to the corporate perspective, educational technologies, and satellite delivery
