Abstract :
Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) is a recently developed medical imaging method which enables reconstructed tomographic images of the internal impedance of an object to be made with a ring or other array of electrodes. This article outlines the potential advantages of EIT for use in epilepsy, and reviews some of the preliminary work performed by the author´s group in developing it for this purpose
