Abstract
Mine disaster occurred, underground power and communications systems were severely damaged, and cause great difficulties for the relief effort. Therefore it has some practical value to design a suitable self-organization network of underground. This article proposes a wireless multimedia sensor network Self-organization protocol for mine rescue .To quickly form an adaptive hierarchical structure which using sink as a top layer node, this protocol can be divided into three stages: backbone network quickly establishing, self-organization as some cluster, self-adaptive and adjusting stage. Simulation result shows that this protocol can quickly establish a self-organization network and has a good performance in prolonging the lifetime of network and balancing nodes energy.
