Abstract :
The engine power management and control architecture should enable power transfer to and from the airframe, and within the engine system, from the LP to the HP system. The paper considers some of the design aspects of the LP shaft generator and the selection of preferred generator technology (permanent magnet generator, switched reluctance generator, induction generator)
