Abstract :
The second heart sound signal is modelled using exponentially damping sinusoids and forward linear predictions. Relationships between the parameters of the model and systolic blood pressure in the aortic root are investigated. Damping and amplitude parameters show higher (statistically significant) correlation to the systolic pressure
