Abstract :
In Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center (HEMC), there are more than 30 million high-quality college teachers and students. With the development of wireless technology and mobile phone technology, as well as the continuous deepening of education reform, solely Internet-based information system has been far from enough to meet the needs of the HEMC´s development. After deep analysis of the actual network information requirements of the students, this paper proposes a blue print for campus mobile platform which is based on the WAP, and introduces some key technologies for wireless end-users to maintain session state. At present, campus mobile platform is running in good condition and the number of registered users is more than 5000.
