Abstract :
It is important to match correctly parameters of controlled induction motor in a controller for some kinds of advanced induction motor control technology, such as sensor-less field-oriented control. Also it is necessary to use a simple estimating algorithm, because a lot of general invertors are equipped with a fixed point CPU. In this paper, a model of an induction motor with single-phase supply is described. Based on the model, an iterative algorithm for parameter identification is presented. The performance of the strategy is demonstrated by both the simulation and the experimental results
