Abstract
So far the aeronautic telecommunication network (ATN) has been studied for many years. As in the various countries, the original aeronautic network is much different and it is less possible immediately to establish the uniform network to communicate with each other all over the world. But each user of the ATN should be guaranteed to have security, priority and congestion control and the quality of service (QoS) is imperative to the ATN. The DiffServ is the proposed QoS architecture and it could be mapped into the ATN by analysis between the IP packets and the ATN packets. Congestion control is the key of the QoS and AQM is the better way to avoid the congestion. Base on the traditional algorithm, a progressed RIO algorithm is simulated with the OPNET and its advantage presents in the throughout and link utility.
