Abstract :
This paper proposes a new stator section crossing method that can overcome the drawbacks of the tow-step and three-step methods used in Shanghai Maglev railway. This method has no descending of propelling force and idleness of PWM converters. The mathematic model and vector control strategy of the permanent magnetic long stator linear machine (PMLSM) are also researched in this paper. The effectiveness of the proposed section crossing method and control approach are validated by simulation results
