Abstract :
Building on previous efficient Raman downconversion achievements, we show that the upconversion efficiency from a continuous-wave pump beam into a single anti-Stokes order can approach the fundamental quantum limit through severe cavity enhancement of Raman-resonant four-wave mixing.
