Abstract
This paper presents the results of a novel Least Squares observer for the state estimation in power system under static conditions. The novel state estimator takes into consideration not only the measurement uncertainty but also the uncertainty associated to the network parameters used in the load flow model of the power grid. A comparison with the classical WLS method is reported.
