Abstract
This paper presents an experimental study of the generalized detector and a comparison with the optimal detector of classical signal detection theory. Experimental researches are carried out under power signal-to-noise ratio (15.92 dB) at the detector inputs. The power signal-to-noise ratio at the output of the optimal detector is equal to 15.74 dB and the power signal-to-noise ratio at the output of the generalized detector is equal to 28.96 dB. New features of signal detection using the generalized detector are discussed
