After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

The paper analyzed the principle of securitization of catastrophe insurance and studied the implementation details of the securitization process though the case study of securitization of Sichuan earthquake insurance. It is concluded that Catastrophe Insurance Securitization can be an effective instrument for insurance companies to diversify the catastrophic risk to the financial market. Meanwhile it also provides a new instrument to public investors.
