Abstract
We have investigated the nonlinearity of high temperature superconductive (HTSC) thin film planar circuits for high levels of applied power. A nonlinear modeling formulation based on the combination of the moment method (MoM) formulation and harmonic balance (HE) technique is applied for this purpose. A stripline filter is analyzed first to verify this nonlinear modeling. A HTSC microstrip line is then studied for the effects of HTSC material nonlinearity, such as the current density redistribution and the sharp-increase of conductor loss
