Abstract :
Modal testing is essential to correct the structure of dynamics model and optimized structure designs. The electromagnetic actuator is mainly applied to control the frequency of modal analysis testing system in the field of low frequency and super-low frequency. Firstly, the main principle of the modal testing system is introduced; then, the mechanical and electrical property of electromagnetic actuator is shown on the basis of theory analysis and experiment. And an improved electromagnetic actuator is given. At last, the experimental results indicate that the improvements of the electromagnetic actuator can enhance the loading strength ability of the suspension system. At the same time, it improved the heat dispersion capability. The improved electromagnetic actuator reached the required compensation of electromagnetic strength to the heavy testing sample.
