Abstract :
Traditional Mongolian and Cyrillic Mongolian are both the characters used by Mongolians, although their pronunciations are basically the same, the shapes of characters and the styles of writing are quite different from each other. In this paper, through the comparison between the traditional Mongolian and the Cyrillic Mongolian, we implement the conversion between traditional Mongolian and Cyrillic Mongolian by applying the bilingual dictionary, text rules, the segmentation and connection conversion rule of text stem and affix, transition rules of the norm´s additional composition and the model algorithm of statistical languages. The experiments show that the methodology we used could obtain a much higher accuracy when we complete the automatic conversion between the two kinds of Mongolian words.
