Abstract :
Arc furnace is the typical complex controlled system with three-phase strong coupling, high nonlinearity and uncertainty. The control requirement of arc furnace is also very strict. The direct adaptive output-feedback fuzzy control is presented. It is applied to electrode regulator systems of arc furnace, and the detailed design procedure of the adaptive output-feedback fuzzy control system is given. The state observer is designed to solve the immeasurable state. The adaptive fuzzy control is utilized to approach the uncertain term of output-feedback control. The adaptive law of the fuzzy rulers parameters is derived by Lyapunov function. The results of simulation show that this proposed control can restrain the external disturbances, and obtain much better dynamic and static characteristics.
