Abstract
Application of a QCL based spectrometer to cw supersonic slit jet expansions of CO and HX (X= F, Cl, CN, CCH) are reported. Spectroscopic analysis of fundamental, combination and hot bands of the CO stretching vibrations provide ro-vibrational parameters for low frequency intermolecular vibrations that can be incorporated in determination of morphed potentials for the respective dimers.
