Abstract :
In this paper, the possibility of improving the harmonic content of the input current in a single-switch three-phase AC-DC boost converter by optimal PWM operation of the switch is analytically investigated. The proper modulation waveforms are derived for each relative on-time of the transistor. Moreover, the influence of the parameter variation is estimated by simulation. The obtained results show good agreement with the theoretical solution
