Abstract
Direct self control (DSC) appears to be superior to other techniques if the high-dynamics control of high-power induction motors is considered. This has been proved by exhibiting some results which point out that the electromagnetic torque quality related to DSC is better than those allowed by other methods, and the switching frequencies of semiconductor devices are low enough to face the restrictions posed by modern high-power components
