Abstract :
This paper presents a spherical camera model with a single effective viewpoint constraint for divergent camera cluster. We define a spherical projection as the method of representing a space point on a sphere surface using central projection. Therefore, it is reasonable to consider a divergent camera cluster as a single model to solve problems in computer vision. In order to construct the spherical camera model, we propose a solution to meet the constraint conditions, including the realization of the unique universal optical center, all fields of view covered and the uniform resolution. It proves that the spherical camera model is reasonable for divergent camera cluster.
