Abstract :
We present the first tunable-focus liquid lens (VTL) for THz frequencies. The lens consists of two elastic polymer foils, which are clamped between two metal rings. The rings have a port to inject optically transparent white oil between the foils. The focal length of the lens can be tuned between 50 and 240 mm by varying the filling level.
