Abstract :
The paper concerns the proportional-integral LQ control of a two-mass system. The LQ problem with the solution of both the continuous and discrete task of proportional-integral control of electrical drive is presented in the paper. The principle of design of the state and disturbance observer, used to reconstruct the state variables of the investigated plant, is also discussed. A control system, employing fixed-point calculation blocks (digital control) is presented in the final section of this paper, simulation results are included.
