Abstract :
Impulse radiating antennas (IRA) have been used to radiate electromagnetic energy in a very short period of time. A method of moments (MoM) based software, the Hybrid EFIE and MFIE Iterative (HEMI), developed at UCLA, is employed to calculate the far-field patterns and the current distributions. We used a 57cm parabolic reflector with a focal length to diameter ratio (F/D) of 0.40 in our HEMI model.
