  • Abstract
The development of embedded systems has been promoted by the advancement of semiconductor technology. It has been widely applied in various areas. This also makes embedded system education face a challenge for our university how to meet the needs of these enterprises in Zhejiang Province. On the basis of analyzing the local enterprise´s needs of embedded system engineer, this paper presents the experience of building course modules for embedded system education based on some existing foundation course modules in computer engineering at Ningbo university. The paper described their design of the course modules and the modules are linked to each other and linked to other related courses. By emphasizing on the practice of embedded system education, the significant positive changes come out in our students. Students learned a lot of technology related to embedded systems and the method. Some students´ design projects were very excellent. Therefore, The authors believe that the updating of our courses will provide better education for tomorrow´s engineers who will design and build complex embedded systems.
