Abstract
In this essay, we mainly discuss the system of self-directed intelligent vehicle which is used to control the direction of laser sensor. The system formed by servo motor and laser sensor based on the chip XS128 produced by Freescale company. The control strategy of the self-directed system was presented. Application of PID algorithm in this system is stressed here. The self-directed intelligent vehicle not only can identify the road precisely, but also it gives robust in outdoor environment.
