Abstract :
We present the implementation results of a digital IF software defined radio module, which can directly down-convert multiple channel IS-95 CDMA IF signals to the baseband and up-convert the multiple baseband signals to IF signals. Based on the polyphase filter bank techniques, the implemented module can selectively analyze specific channel signals from the multiple channel IF signals, and synthesize the analyzed baseband signals to the specific IF frequencies. The module, implemented by FPGA´s at first, has been fabricated in ASIC and deployed in commercial digital fiber optic PCS repeaters
