Abstract :
A three-dimensional electric field analysis of the point-plane electrode configuration is presented. The analysis is based on the Fredholm integral equation to the first kind and its discretization. The point electrode is assumed to consist of three parts with different geometrical shapes. An example of electrode configuration with resulting electric potential and intensity distribution is included. Changing the parameters of the electrodes configuration, one can change the shape and distance of both electrodes
