  • Abstract
    Normally, photovoltaic (PV) power system can be considered as a disturbance of power system. But in proposed paper that when power fluctuation occurs, high permeability PV system can suppress power grids low frequency oscillation because of its large capacity and quick response. If high penetration PV system has the ability of power system energy balance, it is sure to get more extensive applications. PV connected to power grid system´s model is established to show the relationship between power grid and PV system. Low-frequency oscillation suppression strategy is proposed and simulation is carried out to verify its effect.
