Abstract :
In this paper techniques for modeling and analysis of cyber-physical systems, especially in the context of automotive architectures and software are discussed. Here, multiple control applications get mapped onto different electronic control units (ECUs) that communicate over one or more FlexRay/CAN buses. We will start with a general framework for modeling such architectures and conclude with a couple of examples illustrating the need for control/architecture co design in order to close the semantic gap between high-level control models and distributed architectures on which they are finally implemented.
