Abstract
This paper presents a new approach to biomass-fuelled gas turbine power plants location in an electric system. Benefit using biomass and power loss are studied in cost function. The first step is to evaluate the plant size that maximizes the profitableness of the project. The second step is to decide the optimal location of gas turbines in electric system to minimize the power loss of the system
