Abstract :
The stirling convertor is a high efficient power generator, many kinds of heat source can be used in this technology with good suitability, high efficiency, simple structure and long life. As the important component of the stirling convertor, linear generator can adapt well with the stirling engine. The structure of the generator is cylinder type of moving permanent magnet, which is single-phase and single pole and single slot. This paper is about design a linear generator to match characteristics of the stirling convertor. The magnetic circuit structure and electromagnetic design of generator was studied. Including no-load electromagnetic parameters, Analyzing the influence of the motor structure parameters for the no-load electromagnetic parameters, which provides reference for the size of the generator and its optimization. No load electromagnetic parameters including no load air gap magnetic dense, EMF, no-load leakage coefficient, no load inductance. The external characteristic of generator and efficiency characteristics are analyzed too. Such as the factors of impacting these characteristic by the voltage regulation, armature reaction, permanent magnet working point, iron loss, etc.
