Abstract :
This paper describes the implementation of a K-Band radiometer capable to operate as a Total Power Radiometer (TPR), a Dicke Radiometer (DR), and a Noise Injection Radiometer (NIR). This radiometer has been developed for academic purposes in a remote sensing course that is taught at UPC. The objectives include the illustration of the different components of a radiometer and their task in the performance of the overall system. It also can be used to explain the different performances of the TPR DR and NIR.
