Abstract
An adaptive filtering algorithm is designed in this study, and the convergence of the algorithm is analyzed. The new algorithm is used to cancel echo in the chaotic communication systems experiencing echo channels. The results of computer simulation indicate that the new algorithm has faster convergence speed and higher accuracy of computation than that of the old one. In addition, the new algorithm is more stable in the case of low signal to noise ratio (SNR).
