Abstract :
Resource discovery is the key requirements in large heterogeneous grid environments, and an effective and efficient resource discovery mechanism is crucial. Grid system using P2P technology can improve the central control of the traditional grid and the single point of failure. In this paper, a novel grid resource discovery scheme is proposed, which is integrated P2P mode and agent technology. The scheme can adapt to the complex, heterogeneous and dynamic resources of the grid environment, and has a better scalability.
